What you will do:
The Whey Operator 1 bags whey powder, cleans atomizer, blows down chamber and assists operation with CIP.
Performs HACCP Monitoring duties for designated Critical Control Points (cream, milk and vat pasteurization and metal detector) as required per sub job categories.

Here’s a day in the life:
Whey Operator 1: Bagging whey powder, operating Wonderware, operating a scan gun, operating a forklift, maintain sanitation of bagging area, perform metal detector tests, cleaning an atomizer, blow down chamber, setup various systems for CIP, assist whey plant operator, may work off shifts nights or weekends.
Must operate, monitor, and document a HACCP program CCP.
Performs all other duties as assigned as needed
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
Must be able to work a rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts (days or nights) and weekends and holidays
Skills you’ll need:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable; plant environment preferred.
