Job Title: Flatbed Driver
Reports to: Dispatch Team

Position Overview:
Drives with one or more trailers (18-wheel) on public streets or highways to transport materials.
Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.
Dedicated lanes.
Home daily.
Company is located out of Tillamook, OR.
Employee could be from the Portland/Vancouver area.
Essential Job Functions:
Safely transport goods from shippers to receivers.
Maintain Hours of Service logs as required by FMCSA.
Trip plan and manage time to complete deliveries within HOS regulations.
Complete and maintain proper paperwork such as DVIRS and Bill of Ladings for billing and payroll purposes.
Operate Electronic Logbook
Maintain legal weights and measures.
Properly secure load to meet FMCSA guidelines.
Maintain inside of truck cab to meet company cleaning guidelines.
Wear all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as requested by customers.

Must be able read maps/GPS to plan routes.

Have knowledge of Hours-of-Service Regulations set forth by FMCSA and Oregon Dept.
of Transportation.
Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
To hook and unhook trailers.
Qualifications:
No education requirement
2-4 years of experience as a truck driver
Class A CDL license, double/triple endorsements
Current medical certification
Physical Demands:
Position may require sitting for long periods of time, as well as standing, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeing, climbing, walking, pulling etc.
Ability to regularly lift 5 pounds and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
Work requires continual mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness to monitor the production process and/or identify defects.
Ability to physically install tire chains when required.
Ability to physically throw straps and tighten winches.
Work Environment:
Work is typically performed with exposure to dust, fumes, dirt, noise, heat, vibration, cold, water, chemicals and all-weather conditions.
Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
Work is outdoors; must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
