We are currently recruiting full time Medical Drivers who want to train to become EMTs.

org/ Medical Drivers work in our Wheelchair Division performing non-emergency wheelchair transportation.
This is a great entry-level position for those looking to start their careers in healthcare while training to become EMTs.
Essential Job Duties include: * Providing safe wheelchair transportation to doctor’s offices, hospital discharges, dialysis center appointments, hospice, etc.
* Working closely with a variety of patients and care providers * Provide excellent customer services to all clients including hospital systems and long-term care providers * Understand company policies and procedures and adhere to client confidentiality and rights * Maintain a professional image and attitude and all times Requirements include: * Minimum of 21 years in age * Valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license (if licensed out of state, must obtain in state driver’s license within 30 days) and at least 2 years of driving experience within the United States * Applicants must meet Medix Ambulance’s motor vehicle record, National/Federal and criminal background check, drug & alcohol screening, and physical requirement standards.
