Summary:
A Farm Lead is responsible for overseeing and efficiently leading the Farm Crew and the daily operations of the Farm.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a team leader for the Farm Crew.
Be responsible and accountable for crew completing daily work.
Assign job duties to crew members.
Ensure crew members stay on track with daily tasks.
Possess the ability to problem solve.
Turn in daily paperwork to Manager.
Demonstrate ability to work independently, lead a crew, and train others when necessary.
Perform oyster care and husbandry.
Ensuring that products get to their destination in a timely manner.
Organize farm beds prior to product arrival with proper markers.
Harvest and plant oysters.
Work to continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory.
Follow health and safety guidelines.
Possess the ability to operate skiffs safely and efficiently in inclement weather and adverse conditions, while keeping them clean and in operating condition.
Have the ability to effectively run other equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, and other motor vehicles.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
1-2 years related experience
Preferred
Prior experience in an aquaculture or production environment
Experience with operating and trailering small boats
Crane or dock hoist experience
Prior forklift experience
Valid driver’s license
Salary Range: $16.
85 - $20.
