You don’t need to buy everything here but you need to buy the items above to get an item below.
I’ll explain.
You can buy the controller by itself but if you want to headphones, you have to also buy the controller.
If you want the desk and chair, you have to buy the controller, headphones, speakers and boxes for speakers (everything above the desk/chair).
Pioneer DDJ-400 (DJ controller) - ($300) - Excellent Condition.
Like new.
Even the original box is in excellent condition.
Only used a handful of times and always while sitting down in a smoke free environment.
I always kept it covered when not using it.
This controller was designed as the best thing a beginner can start with, if they plan to play on the industry standard decks that you’ll find when playing professionally.
Sennheiser HD 280 Pro - ($50) - known as some of the best headphones for the price.
These have been used but still good condition.
You can’t see any wear on the ear foam.
Only sign of wear on the top of head foam.
M-Audio AV 40 ($50) (speakers, aka studio monitors) - - Still 100% working well but not excellent visually.
One of the screens is pushed in but doesn’t effect sound.
The volume knob is a little lose but doesn’t effect the volume control.
Boxes to sit the M-Audio speakers on - ($50) - These are sound deadening boxes so the vibration of the speakers don’t go into the desk and effect the sound.
These boxes are filled with foam and have rubber feet.
This also raises them to ear-height, which is important for good sound.
Desk and Chair - ($50) - Desk is big, with multiple surface heights and a pull out keyboard section (that fits the DDJ-400 perfectly).
The middle level of the desk swivels to any angle or all the way closed for easier transport.
It’s lightweight for the size.
Chair is fairly basic but is lightweight and comfortable.
I got the chair because it’s comfortable and doesn’t have armrests.
Armrests are annoying while DJing.
Focusrite Scarlette 18i6 ($250) (Audio Interface w/some cables) - - This is an item I’ve had for a while and not very eager to get rid of but will consider selling it to make the package complete.
It still works 100% as it should.
No loose knobs but there is some physically wear on it.
I used to carry it in a backpack.
If you buy all this stuff, I’ll throw in a couple cables so you can get it all going right away.
Comes with the white foam piece shown in photos and the cables that fit perfectly in the holes I cut in the foam.
The foam is there as an elbow rest when using the laptop.
Shure SM 58 - ($120) (Industry standard stage microphone) - This comes with a case, clip for a stand or boom arm, a boom arm that attaches to desk and a very nice cable for it.
The microphone has always been stored in it’s case when not in use and has never been used at a gig, only in a home.
If you buy everything, I’ll throw in a couple 1/4” Monster cables.
*laptop not for sale* I’ve always been into music but was more of a musician/producer than a DJ.
I’m not producing much anymore and decided to dabble with DJing.
It was fun but I think someone else will have a lot more fun with it…plus I need to make money for a better vehicle.
Mine’s about to croak.
