1995 Toyota Camry LE
It has the 2.
2 liter 4 cylinder engine which is one of Toyota’s most reliable and easy to work on engines.
Automatic transmission that shifts smooth.
It has power windows, power locks, cruise control and A/C.
267,000 miles and climbing, I drive this car about 40 miles a day without any issues.
I bought this car at an auction so I didn’t meet the previous owner, but I was as able to dig up some maintenance records on the Toyota app and this car has been well maintained throughout its life.
I have done a lot of work to it including:
Timing belt with tensioner and idler pulleys
Water pump
Thermostat
New radiator overflow tank
Spark plugs
Plug wires
Distributor cap and rotor
Fuel filter
Air filter
Transmission fluid, filter and pan gasket (I wouldn’t normally do this on a car this old, but I found records that the previous owner was up to date on transmission services)
New transmission output seals
New CV axles
Fresh fluid in the differential (differential takes it’s own fluid in this transmission)
New headlight and corner light assemblies
Also the brake pads have a lot of life left and so do the tires.
If you are looking for a cheap reliable car this is a good one.
It has a salvage title.
I have the paperwork from the state patrol inspection stating that the damage is cosmetic.
I appears to have hit a deer or been in a minor fender bender and the insurance company decided to total it instead of paying a body shop to fix it.
It has a small dent in the hood and the passenger side headlight was broken when I bought it.
Other than that I can’t find any damage other than small scratches and door dings.
Willing to trade for small truck, suv or station wagon, maybe a car trailer or sell for $2,200 OBO.
